Wood4Light strives to provide a fair and professional approach to every order.
As Wood4Light products are handmade using natural materials, each изделие may contain individual characteristics related to wood texture, color tones, decorative finishing, and other handcrafted details.
Before placing an order, customers are encouraged to carefully review the product description, photographs, usage conditions, and this Refund & Return Policy.
If customers have any questions before placing an order, they are encouraged to contact Wood4Light in advance for additional product clarification.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Customers may contact Wood4Light regarding returns or refunds if the product was received damaged, has a significant defect, or substantially differs from the confirmed order.
To review a request, customers may be asked to provide photographs of the product, packaging, and a description of the issue.
A return or refund may only be considered for products that have not been used, modified, or damaged after delivery and remain in a condition allowing the issue to be objectively evaluated.
Characteristics resulting from handmade production, natural wood grain, knots, texture variations, color differences, decorative finishing techniques, and other natural material properties are not considered defects and do not constitute grounds for a return, refund, or replacement.
Minor variations in wood grain, texture, color tone, handcrafted finishing details, and other natural characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.
3. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns or refunds do not apply to situations related to:
- minor natural wood characteristics, texture variations, color tones, or wood grain patterns;
- individual characteristics of handcrafted decorative or finishing work;
- natural aging or gradual changes in wood and finishes over time;
- damage caused by improper installation or usage;
- exposure to moisture, precipitation, extreme temperatures, prolonged outdoor exposure, or other unsuitable environmental conditions, the effects of which may gradually appear over time;
- unauthorized modifications of the product;
- mechanical damage occurring after delivery.
Wood4Light products are decorative handmade products, therefore small visual differences and individual characteristics are part of the unique nature and character of each item.
4.Custom-Made Products
Custom Address Signs and Custom Design Signs are created individually according to the customer’s specifications, selected options, dimensions, text, or design requirements.
For this reason, custom-made products may not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange once production has started, except where required by applicable law or in cases of verified manufacturing defects.
Deposits paid for Custom Address Signs and Custom Design Signs are intended to cover project preparation, planning, administration, and production-related costs. Once production has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
If a customer wishes to cancel a custom order before production has started, Wood4Light will review the request individually based on the current stage of the project.
Production is considered to have started when physical manufacturing of the product begins.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If an order was received damaged or the customer received the wrong product, Wood4Light should be contacted as soon as possible after delivery.
To review the situation, customers may be asked to provide:
- photographs of the product;
- photographs of the packaging;
- a description of the issue;
- the order number or proof of purchase.
Each claim is reviewed individually based on the available evidence, product condition, shipping documentation, and the specific circumstances of the case.
In cases of confirmed shipping damage or an error made by Wood4Light, possible expenses related to return shipping, replacement, or resending of the product may be reviewed individually depending on the specific situation.
In situations not related to confirmed shipping damage, a Wood4Light error, or a verified product defect, return shipping and related delivery costs are generally the responsibility of the customer.
Damage occurring after delivery as a result of improper installation, storage, environmental exposure, or misuse is not considered shipping damage.
6. Shipping Responsibility
Wood4Light is responsible for preparing, packaging, and handing over orders to the shipping provider in proper condition.
After the order has been transferred to the logistics provider, shipping timelines and delivery processes depend on the corresponding shipping company and external circumstances beyond the control of Wood4Light.
Wood4Light cannot guarantee exact international delivery timelines, customs processing times, or the absence of delays caused by shipping providers.
Customers should inspect the condition of the package and product upon delivery and report any visible shipping damage as soon as reasonably possible.
In the event of shipping issues or package damage, customers should contact Wood4Light as soon as possible and provide the necessary information for review of the situation and possible communication with the shipping provider.
7. Refund Processing
After reviewing the request and confirming valid grounds for a return or refund, the resolution is determined individually depending on the nature of the situation.
If a refund is approved, the payment will be returned through the original payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed separately.
Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is caused by a confirmed manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or an error made by Wood4Light.
Refund processing times may depend on the payment provider, bank, shipping company, or other external factors beyond the control of Wood4Light.
