Refund Policy Overview

At Wood4Light, our refund policy is created to be transparent, fair, and customer-friendly. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned, and we want to make the return or exchange process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our goal is to provide you with the best experience, even in situations where a refund or return is necessary.

You have the right to return your product within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it — including the original packaging. We may ask for a photo of the item prior to return to verify eligibility.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products are not eligible for return:

  • Customized or made-to-order items

  • Gift cards or downloadable content

  • Items that have been used, damaged, or returned without original packaging

Additionally, items with visible signs of wear or any alterations made post-purchase cannot be accepted for return. This ensures that we can maintain high-quality standards and product hygiene for all customers.


Refund Process

Once we receive your return and inspect the item, we’ll notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is approved, we will issue it within a few business days, and the amount will be applied to your original method of payment.

If your refund is delayed or missing:

  • Double-check your bank account

  • Contact your credit card provider (some delay may occur)

  • Contact your bank (processing time may vary)

  • If still unresolved, please email us at info@wood4light.com

We will do our best to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Refund Policy for Sale Items

Only regular-priced products can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items are non-refundable unless they are defective or damaged. We reserve the right to inspect the item before processing such claims.


Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at info@wood4light.com and send the product to the return address provided in your confirmation email.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or any address not explicitly provided by us.


Shipping Returns

To return your product, please ship it to the return address provided upon request. You will be responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are returning high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking. This step is important for both your protection and ours.


Customer Responsibility

Please ensure the product is packaged securely. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping if sent without insurance or tracking. Items that are returned in poor condition or without proper packaging may be denied a refund.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit equal to the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or the sender had the order shipped to themselves to later gift you, we will send the refund to the original purchaser.
